Raisin & Dérivés SAS is working with partner companies to develop suitable products adapted to tomorrow's needs but also to market and valorize all grape-derived products: wines, juices, musts, alcohols, pulps, seeds, tartaric products, polyphenols, tannins, etc ...

The developing markets

Liquors

  • Raw or rectified and dehydrated alcohols for the manufacture of biofuel (second generation alcohol) but also chemical and industrial products (window washers, cleaning products, etc.).
  • Neutral alcohols of vinic origin for the production of natural sweet wine, liqueur wine and mistelle.
  • Brandies and wine distillates for the elaboration of liquors.
  • Essential oils and fusel oils for the enhancement of  spirits quality.

Food processing and human nutrition

  • Grape dyes or grape anthocyanins, which are very popular in many kind of drinks.
  • Grape polyphenolics for the vast field of alicaments.
  • Grape juice and grape juice concentrate for the elaboration of some juices and nectars.
  • Grape sugars complemented with a range of fruit and vegetable sugars for the preparation of drinks, cocktails, jams and sweets.

Œnology

  • Tartaric acid to improve the taste balance of wines.
  • Tannins to enchance the structure of the wines but also to act as a freshness-keeper.
  • Rectified musts concentrate to enrich musts during vinification, to sweeten elaborated wines and liquors on sparkling wines.

Animal nutrition

  • Grape pulp and seeds  for food production.
  • Grape polyphenols to provide a solution for the health and well-being of animals.

Agro-industry

  • Calcium tartrate and all tartaric products for the elaboration of tartaric acid.
  • Grape pulp and residues for the manufacture of fertilizers and biofuel.
  • Grape seeds for the elaboration of grape seed oil as well as the extraction of polyphenols.

Wines

Wines from any original wine-growing region to satisfy a large range of consumer markets but also to enhance the value of industrial wines that do not or no longer correspond to the needs of the consumer market (wines for distillation or vinegar for example).
